My firstborn child, the lovely Adela Mia Thompson Page graduated from Lakeside High School this week.
What a bittersweet joy to see my baby girl gliding in the June sun to the pomp and circumstance. I like to say she’s the best thing I’ve raised on the farm. I couldn’t be prouder of her. I popped the two buttons on my shirt! It’s been a while since she’s helped me at the markets, but now that school is done perhaps I’ll convince her to make a guest appearance before she’s off to Amherst for the next chapter. One of my favorite memories of her was at Columbia City with her baby goat, lovingly named “Spring Summer”. Be sure to come see me in the magic meat truck this Saturday and Sunday.
