Weekly stories from the farm

We woke up Monday morning to a six inch blanket of white covering the farm.
It continued to snow heavily all morning. And then proceeded to snow heavily every morning this entire week!  Very strange weather for April. The days were on the warmer side so most of the snow melted off each day. Tuesday was the first snowy birthday I recall since my childhood in southeast Alaska!

We celebrated my birthday with a handful of family and friends, enjoying an elaborate feast exquisitely prepared by our dear friend Scott Carsberg. He has secured a gorgeous private loft dining space in the SODO neighborhood after departing his latest iteration of Bisato in Pioneer Square. It was such a treat to enjoy his exhilarating culinary take through eleven impeccable courses.

Rose, the kids and I are eager to see you on the Magic Meat Truck this weekend!
