My obsession with fresh figs borders on the deviant. The delectable fruits, when at prime ripeness, dripping syrupy honey-nectar from their plump, swollen orbs, are unmatched in erotic appeal. When I think of the biblical story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, dressed in fig leaves and partaking of the forbidden fruit, I can only assume an error in the English translation mistaking an apple for a fig. As I have noted in a previous post, stuffed pasta dumplings such as agnolotti and ravioli are another passionate pursuit of mine. So what could be better than to marry the two? The obvious answer is a ‘ménage à trois’ involving another decadent delight—duck liver mousse. Et voilà! I have finally created my culinary magnum opus! Delicate agnolotti filled with goat cheese and silky duck liver mousse, seductively draped with a decadent lace of thick cream and fresh figs swimming in butter.

I will be featuring this delightful dish on our menu this month. To make it even more enticing, I am providing TWO pasta courses consecutively on our prix fixe menu. I will leave the details as a secret for you to discover by heading to the link below where I unveil the full menu.
Rose and I are yearning to seduce you with our decadent delights. Remember, we are only able to seat 12 diners per evening, so do not delay in reserving your seat!
Xoxo,
