Butcher Baby

Glancing out the kitchen window as I was washing dishes yesterday, I watched Rose carefully walk across the grass towards the ChopShop in the bright winter sun. With a basket of clean towels under her left arm, and little 18 month old River in tow with her right, she strolled with a deliberate gait which betrayed her 18 weeks of gestation. The sight flooded me with joy and anticipation. In that same moment the realization dawned on me that I would be doing our pop up markets more frequently as she approaches term. We are overjoyed to be welcoming another little Allred Page into the world! Roman has decided the name should be Butcher Baby. We shall see.
I will be operating the Magic Meat Truck this weekend while Rose tends to the farm critters and farm children.
