Bugey and Bouchon

Bugey joined our farm family as a pup about 4 years ago from our friend Matt at Foothills Farm in Sedro Woolley. A mix of Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd she has been a great protector of our herds and flocks. We liked her so much that last autumn we found a mate for her, Bouchon, from a farm in Chehalis. Once Bouchon was of age, the two lovers spent a few days frolicking in the fields earlier this spring and the relationship was consummated. Following the 64 days of gestation, Bugey faithfully whelped eight squirmy little puppies Thursday morning!
Rose is enroute to Seattle’s University District this morning with a fully loaded Magic Meat Truck. I will be with the kids, working on some new Magic tricks in Portland ;-) The spring chickens, poussins and coquelets are delightful, as are the gorgeous, fat, golden ducks, phenomenal dry-aged beef ribeye steaks, and delicate lamb chops. Rose has crafted a stunning selection of smoked meats, pâtés and rillettes. We will be at University District Seattle today from 9am - 2pm. We will not be at Ballard or Vashon this week. We continue to offer delivery to your home. Stay tuned as our schedules develop.
